Remote Sensing Solutions GmbH is a privately owned company which provides value added services, consulting and custom-made solutions for geo-spatial data procurement and management. The company was established in 1998 by scientists from Munich and Freiburg University and has offices in Munish and Postdam near Berlin.

RSS is specialied in environmental monitoring, applying the latest technologies to retrieve thematic information from digital aerial photography and satellite imagery of almost all available sensors. Advances automated digital image analysis procedures speed up information processing and reduce costs. Remotely sensed information is integrated in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) for further evaluation and stored in geo-databases to support information management.

RSS is also strongly engaged in research to develop new Remote Sensing products and cost-effective solutions. Co-operations with universities and specialised consulting companies ensure that RSS always offers the most advanced technologies.
