The CARTO-CHANGE INNOVATOR project has the objective to develop a generic GIS based methodology and information services based on the methodology.The information service addresses the harmonization of existing land cover (i.e. CORINE+, CORINE, Globcover), and thereby:

• the cartographic and statistic comparison of LC/LU information across different scales and resolutions (= CARTOSTAT);
• the timely statistical identification of candidate land cover changes by using LC/LU information derived from medium resolution satellite data (= CHANGESTAT).
