In France, seven institutions (CNES, CNRS, IRD, METEO-FRANCE, Toulouse University, CLS and SPOT-IMAGE) are supporting a public, non-profit corporation, headquartered in Toulouse, called Medias-France, with a view to co-ordinate French contributions within the network. Medias-France works in close collaboration with national laboratories and many other partners in France and abroad. Medias-France provides support to national and international global change research projects and serves as a permanent secretariat for the Medias network.
