Organization Description
The Center for the Study of the Biosphere from Space (CESBIO) is a laboratory UPS-CNRS-CNES-IRD.
It aims to develop knowledge on continental biosphere dynamics and functioning at various temporal and spatial scales.

This laboratory:

  • aims to do research in the domains of observation and modeling of the continental surfaces;
  • participates in the specification of space missions and the treatment of remotely sensed data;
  • adresses the interface between physical and biological sciences;
  • is in direct contact with socio-economic community.
