| Organisation Description | The Waterways and Maritime Affairs Administration (AWZ) is responsible for the management and day-to-day administration of the waterways in Flanders. The administration comes under the Environment and Infrastructure Department (LIN) that - since the federalisation of Belgium - has been part of the Ministry of Flanders .
Flanders Hydraulics Research (FWR) is a division of the Waterways and Marine Affairs Administration of the Environment and Infrastructure Department of the Ministry of the Flemish Community (Belgium). FHR carries out hydraulic and hydrological research and provides inland and foreign public or private organisations with consultancy services. |
